First time registrations 

• Any player who is 18+ and registering for the first time must self-register from Tuesday, June 3rd, 2025. 

• Any player who is under 18 and registering for the first time must have their parent/guardian self-register them from Tuesday, June 3rd, 2025. 

• Parents/guardians will need to sign up/log in to their own Account first. 

They will then link their account to the Child profile and once linked can switch to the child account to register on their behalf.

Players moving / transferring clubs 

Players who are currently with a club and moving clubs from July 1st, 2025, can either self-register to initiate the transfer, or the new club they are joining can initiate the transfer 

More information on this process will be available at support.faiconnect.ie prior to the next transfer window.

Players already registered on FAI Connect  

Players who will remain with their current club do not need to sign up or re-register. 

Other roles 

Coaches, staff, and club officials will also be able to Self-Register (same as players whether they are under or over 18).
